To be considered for admission to the UCLA School of the Arts and Architecture applicants are required to complete both the general UCLA graduate application as well as the departmental supplemental application.

 
  • Due dates for graduate applications vary by department, with the earliest deadlines in November. Please check with your department for specific due dates.

    • Master of Architecture (M.Arch)

    • Master of Science in Architecture and Urban Design (MS AUD)

    • MA & PhD in Architecture

    • M.Arch + MURP (concurrent degree in urban planning and architecture)

    • Master of Fine Art (MFA) - Art

    • Master of Fine Art (MFA) - Choreographic Inquiry

    • PhD - Culture and Performance

    • Master of Fine Art (MFA) - Design|Media Arts

  • All UCLA Arts academic departments require a supplemental application (portfolio, audition, other creative research materials) as part of their admission process. Please see below for more information about the requirements for each area, including portfolio and audition guidelines as well as important application deadlines.

    • Master of Architecture (M.Arch)
